Occupational Therapist - PRN

Role Overview This PRN Occupational Therapist provides skilled outpatient occupational therapy services in an acute care setting, assessing and treating patients based on physician orders. The role involves developing treatment plans, educating and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers, and delegating tasks to assistants and students. Documentation must be completed per departmental policies, and evaluations, reassessments, and consultations are key responsibilities. Establishes and implements individualized treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment requirements.Educates and communicates with patients, families, and healthcare teams, making appropriate referrals.Delegates interventions to qualified staff based on skill level and competency.Maintains accurate documentation of services provided.Provides assessments, reassessments, and consultations as needed. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (required), Master's Degree preferred.Licenses & Certifications: Valid Occupational Therapist license.Experience: No prior experience required.
