Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving function, independence, and quality of life.
- Ensure all treatments are provided in accordance with the established plan of care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Complete all required documentation in accordance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapy professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- A current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Wyoming.
- At least one year of recent relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience working with individuals with physical, cognitive, and developmental disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in computer software, including electronic health records systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
