Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving function, independence, and quality of life.
  • Ensure all treatments are provided in accordance with the established plan of care.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and interventions.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Complete all required documentation in accordance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapy professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • A current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Wyoming.
  • At least one year of recent relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience working with individuals with physical, cognitive, and developmental disabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including electronic health records systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
