About the role

Evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, and administers treatments and physical agents in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Ensures patient charges are accurate and submitted in a timely manner. Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to support staff (COTA, OT /PT Aide, etc.). Participates in operational aspects of the department, contributing to performance improvement and CQI activities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, and administers treatments and physical agents in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
  • Ensures patient charges are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Coincides, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to support staff (COTA, OT /PT Aide, etc.).
  • Participates in operational aspects of the department, contributing to performance improvement and CQI activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current Georgia license.
  • New graduates will be considered.
