Occupational Therapist - PRN

About the role

This position involves providing skilled Occupational Therapy services to patients in an acute care setting as part of a multidisciplinary team. The therapist will develop treatment plans, deliver interventions, and evaluate patient progress, considering discharge needs and appropriate equipment. Responsibilities include educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare providers, delegating tasks to assistants and students, and completing accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment strategies, and reassess as needed
• Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure documentation complies with policies

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• Ability to establish effective treatment plans and communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in OT
