About the role

Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs in order to achieve maximum potential. Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the state of practice. Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct medically prescribed patient care programs
• Practice treatment skills within the scope of the State Practice Act
• Comply with all rules and regulations of the National Board and governing bodies
• Assist in special projects to promote department growth and development
• Coordinate activities in patient care programs

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state (may work under a temporary license up to 90 days)
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to respond to emergency situations

Preferred Qualifications

• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy
