Occupational Therapist, Per Diem Acute Care OT (weekend requirements), Day Shift
About the role
The Adventist Health Northwest Heart Center, located on our medical center campus, provides advanced cardiovascular care, bringing together expert providers, innovative treatments and compassionate support for patients across the region.
Responsibilities
- Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention.
- Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishes individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques.
- Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties.
- Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
- Supervises assigned assistants.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD): Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2007; or foreign equivalent.
- Two years' occupational therapy experience: Preferred.
- Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required.
- Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required.

Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $43.98 to $65.91. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
