Occupational Therapist - Part time

About the role

Lowell Community Charter Public School serves 815 K1‑8 grade students, families and staff from diverse communities of Lowell, representing many nations of Central and South America, Central Africa, and Southeast Asia. Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of students from K1‑8th grade with a range of disabilities.
• Work alongside licensed clinicians, special education teachers, speech and language pathologists, and a physical therapist as part of a collaborative team.
• Administer and report on standardized testing.
• Write and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Complete progress notes.
• Provide RTI services to K1 and K classrooms.
• Handle Medicaid billing.
• Oversee a designated therapy space with updated equipment and resources, managing those tools.
• Report to the Director of Student Support Services.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist.
