About the role

You perform skilled therapeutic services within the Occupational Therapist’s scope of practice. This includes providing evaluations and treatment for pediatric clients across activities of daily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), and functional participation domains. You administer and interpret standardized assessments that identify deficits related to sensory processing, fine motor, motor planning, emotional regulation, feeding, and daily life skills. You guide Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) teammates and elevate the entire treatment team with your expertise. You collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to support carryover into real environments. You develop care plans that prioritize independence, safety, and long-term functional outcomes. You celebrate patient success, making them an inspiration for others!

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current NBCOT certification
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Kentucky
  • CPR & First Aid certification
  • Pass background check
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong clinical skills, powerful presence, and the flexibility to think like a clinician and a kid

Qualifications

  • Experience in pediatric occupational therapy
