Occupational Therapist - Outpatient Pelvic Floor

About the role

Provides direct patient care by creating tailored intervention plans to help patients develop, regain, or maintain daily living, work, and leisure skills. Facilitates participation in meaningful activities to promote independence and satisfaction, using creative problem-solving and education for patients, families, and caregivers. Demonstrates proficiency through precepting and values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans for outpatient pelvic floor therapy.
• Help patients develop, regain, or maintain skills for daily living, work, and leisure activities.
• Facilitate patient participation in meaningful activities to promote independence and satisfaction.
• Use creative problem-solving and education for patients, families, and caregivers.
• Precept and mentor others as part of professional proficiency.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's preferred).
• Current licensure in Colorado as an Occupational Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
