About the role

The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts prescribed skilled occupational therapy programs through the application of purposeful, goal-directed activity in the treatment of persons whose function is impaired by physical illness or injury, emotional disorder, congenital or developmental disability or the aging process to achieve optimum functioning, prevent disability, and maintain health. This role will focus on outpatient feeding to include sensory integration intervention.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapist program.
  • Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as an Occupational Therapist required or in compliance with the state practice act.
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Positions in Home Care will require current valid Driver's License with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.

Qualifications

  • One year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system or outpatient Occupational Therapy department preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $77,147.20 to $104,353.60 per year. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
