Occupational Therapist Outpatient - Part-time

Job Summary

Aegis Therapies, a leading provider of contract rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our supportive team. The ideal candidate will provide outpatient therapy services to seniors in assisted living, independent living, outpatient, and lovely community settings.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist at Aegis Therapies, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to improving the lives of seniors through therapeutic interventions. You will enjoy the flexibility of a full-time, part-time, or PRN schedule, with no evenings or weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents in their rooms or an on-site outpatient clinic, ensuring a comfortable and convenient environment.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions to help seniors regain independence and manage daily activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Market the clinic and promote occupational therapy services to potential clients.
• Showcase your outgoing personality and business skills by engaging with patients and families.

Requirements

• Current license as Occupational Therapist or ability to obtain in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in outpatient setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.
• Experience working with older adults and those with various medical conditions.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends.
