About the role
Broad River Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist / OTR to join our skilled nursing facility in Hickory, North Carolina. This is a PRN (as needed) position with a flexible schedule. As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate and treat residents under orders from a physician, using a variety of occupational therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potential in all areas of a resident’s life.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under physician orders
- Apply occupational therapeutic procedures and assistive devices
- Maximize residents’ functional potential across all areas of daily life
- Document progress and communicate with interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina
- Master’s or doctorate degree in occupational therapy
- New graduates are welcome to apply
