About the role
Seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide services in a school setting, focusing on pediatric populations.
Responsibilities
- Conducting evaluations and assessments
- Delivering therapy as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Tracking child progress
- Collaborating with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support children's developmental goals
- Completing necessary documentation and progress notes
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program
- Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy required
- Valid, unencumbered occupational therapy license for the state of practice necessary
Skills
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Experience in implementing therapy plans aligned with IEPs
- Excellent documentation and progress tracking abilities
