About the role

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital - Covington is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist for day shifts. This role is responsible for evaluating a patient's rehabilitation potential, establishing realistic goals, and planning and administering a treatment program which best meets that patient's individual functional capacity and tolerance to achieve that goal. All Occupational Therapy treatments and modalities are in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care at all times. This position offers a flexible schedule with variable day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient's rehabilitation potential.
• Establish realistic goals for patient recovery.
• Plan and administer treatment programs tailored to individual functional capacity and tolerance.
• Deliver Occupational Therapy treatments and modalities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain the highest degree of quality patient care at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy school.
• Maintain a current Louisiana State License in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.
