Occupational Therapist OT Part-Time

About the role

The Occupational Therapist evaluates residents, develops individualized treatment plans, and implements therapeutic interventions to improve independence, safety, and quality of life. This role works closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred
• Experience in post-acute or long-term care settings preferred
• Proficient in computer systems including Casamba and PointClickCare preferred
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of California (required)
• Must maintain license in good standing and meet continuing education requirements
• CPR certification (as required)
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

• Ability to read and comprehend technical procedures and policy manuals
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, residents, and families
• Apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations
• Solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
