About the role

You will lead and mentor a team of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT Techs in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting. Provide regular mentorship, feedback, and support so every child gets evidence-based care. Guide treatment planning and goal development across the OT caseload. Review and co-sign documentation to ensure clinical notes meet compliance and quality standards. Monitor patient progress and adjust approaches alongside your assistant team. Foster a team culture of learning, mutual support, and clinical excellence. Keep organized systems for scheduling, supervision logs, and documentation review. Stay current on best practices and new developments in pediatric occupational therapy. Help shape and refine clinical processes as part of a growing organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Current Texas licensure as a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
  • Minimum of 3 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience (supervisory experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of developmental milestones, sensory integration, and functional pediatric interventions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Comfort using EMR systems and reviewing documentation for compliance and quality

  • Experience in a leadership role within an occupational therapy practice
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

$50,000 - $70,000 annually based on experience and qualifications

Full-time · Monday - Thursday in clinic · 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (with a lunch break) · Friday remote
