Occupational Therapist (OT) In House PRN

About the Role

Evolve Therapy Services is hiring compassionate therapists for our partner located in Sutherland, NE. This role involves planning, organizing, developing, and directing Occupational Therapy Services in an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility, ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient.
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve them.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members.
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plans and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
• Oversee Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) as needed, ensuring all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are followed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients.

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in the practicing state(s).
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
