Occupational Therapist (OT) Home Health PRN

About the Role

Theracare is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver exemplary care and enthusiasm in working with our adult population in the Home Health Care settings. This is a Part-Time/PRN position for the Tipton area.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician orders using therapeutic procedures to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, relieve pain, improve movement, and function.
• Work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Occupational Therapy.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current state license/certification
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation (New Graduates are welcome to apply)
• Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in Occupational Therapy
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
