About the role
The Occupational Therapist (OT) will serve the Woodland Hills area and provide premier excellence of care to adults of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functionality status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, and adaptive equipment.
- Determine a treatment plan based on the assessment and evaluation.
- Perform interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's wellbeing.
- Evaluate the patient’s progress.
Requirements
- Provide services defined by state laws governing the practice of Occupational Therapy, in coordination with the plan of care, and the health care team.
- Lead patients in therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety.
- Observe, record, and report the patient's response to treatment and changes in their condition.
- Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team in therapy areas.
Qualifications
- Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages.
- Occupational Therapist license and registration by the state.
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
- Bilingual a plus!
