About the role

As an Occupational Therapist (OT) Department Lead at Eyas Landing - Avondale, you will provide occupational therapy to children and families while overseeing a team of Occupational Therapists. You'll foster each child's sensory processing and integration, motor coordination, fine motor development, and independence through:

  • Providing individualized and group therapy
  • Implementing client-centered therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Intentional Relationship Model (IRM), and reflex integration
  • Collaborating daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workers
  • Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care
  • Providing mentorship, clinical guidance, and performance feedback to Occupational Therapists to ensure consistency in care delivery and growth

Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative, innovative environment designed to help children thrive.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Illinois
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

  • Passionate about providing evidence-based, play-focused therapy
  • Experience with DIR/Floortime, Intentional Relationship Model (IRM), and reflex integration
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to mentor and guide Occupational Therapists

Pay

$102,000-111,000 which includes: $5,000 Sign-on Bonus

Monday-Friday, 8-4:30pm
