  • Occupational Therapist (OT): $80 per routine visit or $100,000–$120,000 annually (based on caseload)
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA): $60 per visit

About the role

Always Best Care Home Health is a growing Medicare-certified home health agency serving patients throughout O’ahu. We’re seeking compassionate Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) who are passionate about helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through personalized in-home therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver occupational therapy services in patients’ homes
  • Complete initial evaluations and follow-up visits
  • Perform fall risk assessments and home safety evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (OT)
  • Assist with treatment interventions established by the supervising OT (COTA)
  • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate changes with the interdisciplinary team
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements

  • Active Hawaii Occupational Therapist license (OT) or Active Hawaii Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license (COTA)
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience (home health experience preferred but not required for OT; preferred for COTA)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Comfortable with community outreach and educational presentations
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
