About the role
This position offers the opportunity to provide individualized therapy services that help residents improve daily function, safety, and overall independence.
Responsibilities
- Complete occupational therapy evaluations and establish individualized treatment goals
- Provide therapy focused on self-care tasks, upper extremity function, cognition, and adaptive strategies
- Recommend and train residents on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
- Work collaboratively with rehab staff, nursing, and physicians to support resident progress
- Maintain compliant and timely documentation
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required
