About the role
Ultimate Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their skilled nursing rehabilitation team in Lutherville (Timonium), MD.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and design individualized occupational therapy treatment programs
- Provide therapy focused on daily living skills, fine motor coordination, upper extremity function, cognition, and safety
- Introduce adaptive strategies and equipment to improve resident independence and participation
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists (PTs), Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs), nursing staff, physicians, and families to support patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate documentation of outcomes and adjust treatment approaches as needed
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Qualifications
- Passionate about helping residents improve functional ability and independence
- Willingness to work in a supportive and collaborative rehab environment
- Ability to work with a broad range of post-acute and long-term care diagnoses
- Interest in working with a consistent caseload and meaningful resident interactions
- Desire to be part of a leadership team focused on clinical support and professional development
