Occupational Therapist (OT)

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs
• Develop recovery plans
• Deliver occupational therapy
• Address the whole patient and see them as individuals
• Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence
• Adapt to the needs of the patient and enjoy the variety of work and settings
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals as necessary
• Train patients and caregivers on skills for promoting independence and productivity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• A valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice

Qualifications

• Experience in occupational therapy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for helping others regain their independence and quality of life

USD $41.00 - USD $53.00 /Hr.
