About the role
As an Enhance Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist, you will be a part of a growing team. Your responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting following an individualized plan of care. You will also provide excellent care and customer service to patients and their families, collaborate with facility staff to ensure high-quality care, evaluate new patients, develop plans of care and set measurable, functional goals, treat patients, answer their concerns and educate them about their injuries, progress, and probable outcomes, re-evaluate patient progress, revise plans of care and reset goals, and complete timely and accurate documentation including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes. Additionally, you will supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in a SNF setting following an individualized plan of care
- Provide excellent care and customer service to patients and their families
- Collaborate with facility staff to ensure high-quality care
- Evaluate new patients, develop plans of care, and set measurable, functional goals
- Treat patients, answer their concerns, and educate them on their injuries, progress, and probable outcomes
- Re-evaluate patient progress, revise plans of care, and reset goals
- Complete timely and accurate documentation including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of [State]
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a SNF setting preferred
