Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

About the Role

Lead and support the occupational therapy team in a rehabilitation setting, assisting with daily operations, scheduling, training, and communication. Provide direct patient care, fostering personalized, compassionate treatments to help patients achieve their recovery goals. Collaborate with hospital departments and celebrate patient progress.

Responsibilities

  • Support therapy operations and team management
  • Deliver patient-centered care tailored to individual needs
  • Build meaningful relationships with patients during their recovery
  • Assist with staff training, orientation, and communication
  • Ensure seamless implementation of procedures and treatments
  • Celebrate patient successes and progress

Requirements

  • Current state licensure or certification
  • CPR certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
  • Minimum of three years of occupational therapy or leadership experience, including two years of clinical practice

Preferred Qualifications

  • Therapy Clinical Ladder eligibility or specialty certifications
