Occupational Therapist - Inpatient (Casual)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, treat, and educate patients in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge planning for a patient caseload
• Manage administrative duties such as documentation, billing, and scheduling
• Communicate professionally and supervise support staff
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to organizational policies, ethical standards, and scope of practice
• Support patient needs across departments as required
• Serve as a clinical instructor and participate in departmental committees

In Inpatient Rehab Settings

• Provide intensive therapy to support community discharge
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Complete Medicare outcome assessments accurately and timely

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Pay

Compensation ranges from $34.96 to $52.44 per hour.

Schedule

This is a casual position requiring weekend shifts (minimum four times a year).
