About the role

The Occupational Therapist at Resolute Health Hospital is responsible for administering, interpreting, and evaluating tests and measurements. They plan and modify treatment programs and work with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency, as applicable. They complete established competencies for the position within a designated introductory period. Other related duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: No previous work experience necessary. After completion of 3 full years/beginning of 4th year may be eligible for Occupational Therapist Level II.
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Clinical experience in variety of settings, Hand Therapy, Ergonomics, as well as marketing and business familiarity. Spanish Proficiency Required.

Certifications/Licenses

  • NEW GRADUATES: Possession of current Texas State license prior to orientation.
  • ALL OTHERS: Possession of current Texas State license.
  • PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: See Preferred Certification Listing

Required Courses/Completions

  • Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
