Occupational Therapist II - Acute Care - PRN

Essential Job Functions

• Evaluates and treats all diagnoses and more complex patients.
• Conducts thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical history, and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administers therapeutic exercises and other occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
• Educates patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management techniques to improve recovery outcomes.
• Collaborates with other professionals in developing and implementing discharge plans and recommendations for continued care.
• Maintains accurate records of patients' progress, treatment outcomes, and responses to interventions.
• Collaborates with teams from different departments to ensure coordinated patient care and holistic treatment outcomes.
• Affords assistance with the orientation and training of new staff.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience: 2 years.
