Occupational Therapist I, CI (Court Involved)
Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to provide Occupational Therapy services at the intermediate level and implement programs for severely and persistently mentally ill patients, and function as a member of the treatment team. This position supports the mission of the organization through active participation in clinical efforts to provide treatment in a recovery-oriented environment. The foundation of a recovery-oriented environment is respect and a commitment to safety in the least restrictive manner possible.
Minimum Qualifications
- Determined by the Maryland State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice under the licensing requirements for Occupational Therapists.
- No experience required.
Licenses, Registrations and Certifications
- Candidates must possess a current license as an Occupational Therapist from the Maryland State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice.
- May be required to successfully complete and maintain current certification of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.
