Occupational Therapist - Home Health - Casual Program - Washington

About the role

The Home Health Occupational Therapist at Presbyterian SeniorCare Network provides skilled nursing services, physical, occupational, and speech therapy to patients in their homes. This role is part of an interdisciplinary team that includes Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Social Workers, and other licensed and certified professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement and modify treatment plans based on patient progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Communicate regularly with patients and families to monitor progress and address concerns

Requirements

• Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Current license as an occupational therapist from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or pending licensure
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an occupational therapist
• Valid driver’s license and use of a reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
• CPR certification
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and electronic charting software
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively

Qualifications

Preference given to candidates with community/home health experience.
