About the role
Therapy Orthopedics is seeking a part-time therapist to work varied days. Ideal candidates must be graduates of an accredited occupational therapy program with a BS or MS degree, and have 1 to 2 years of experience in acute and sub-acute care settings. Preference will be given to recent graduates.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in designated therapy areas
- Maintain professional licensure and registration with the appropriate South Carolina boards and the NBCOT
- Participate in continuing education to fulfill licensing and competency requirements
- Engage in independent study to enhance knowledge base
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver interdisciplinary patient care
- Accurately document all patient interventions in compliance with regulatory standards
- Obtain and maintain certifications such as CPR, Educode, and complete annual health screenings
- Perform other duties as directed by the Manager or Director
Requirements
State/National certification/licensure in occupational therapy is required. Other certifications may be beneficial but are not mandatory.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
- BS or MS degree in occupational therapy
- 1 to 2 years of experience in acute/sub-acute care settings
- Preferably recent graduate

- Strong clinical skills in occupational therapy
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficient in documentation and record-keeping
