Occupational Therapist - Full Time

About the role

We’re hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist for a full-time role with one of our trusted clients in Owensboro, KY. Your skills will support pediatric and early-adult patients in an outpatient clinic that provides integrated pediatric therapy and behavioral health services.

Responsibilities

• Support pediatric and early-adult patients in an outpatient clinic that provides integrated pediatric therapy and behavioral health services.
• Collaborate across disciplines including ABA, speech-language pathology, and mental health therapy.
• Provide primarily 1:1 care; clinic may offer group therapy in some cases.
• Work with infants, children, and early adults; not limited to early intervention.
• Work with a diverse population served by the clinic.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy license required to start the position.
• BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
• Experience providing 1:1 therapy sessions.
• Comfort and skill working with children who present a range of behavioral needs.
• Experience with Fusion EMR preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in occupational therapy.
• Experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Fusion EMR.

Schedule

Typical schedule M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Flexible scheduling options available due to urgent need (3x12, 4- or 5-day options).
