About the role
Your skills will support pediatric through early-adult patients in an outpatient clinic as part of an interdisciplinary therapy team.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric and early-adult patients.
- Treat patients in an outpatient or community clinic setting.
- Support interdisciplinary teams and manage varied child behaviors ethically and professionally.
- Work on behavioral health and ABA-based programming.
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, behavioral health staff, and ABA teams.
- Offer primarily 1:1 care and occasionally support group therapy.
- Use Fusion EMR for documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Kentucky State License to start the position.
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC.
- Experience providing pediatric occupational therapy services.
- Experience treating early-adult patients is a plus.
- Experience working in an outpatient or community clinic setting preferred.
- Comfort providing primarily 1:1 care and occasional group therapy.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Fusion EMR.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Preferred Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Fusion EMR.
- Ability to work on interdisciplinary teams and manage varied child behaviors ethically and professionally.

Schedule and Setting
- Outpatient clinic setting with pediatric focus.
- Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Flexible scheduling available due to urgent need, including options for 3x12, 4- or 5-day schedules.
- Clinics supporting this role include locations in Leitchfield, Owensboro, Vine Grove, and Mount Washington, KY.
- Primarily 1:1 therapy sessions. Some group therapy occurs at the clinic.
- Client population includes children through early adults. Approximately 50% Medicaid payer mix.
