About the Role
Evaluates and develops an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) to meet the specific needs of students who qualify for occupational therapy services.
Requirements
- Arizona Occupational Therapy License
- Verbal & Written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instruction
- Must release Social Security Number to be eligible for AHCCCS-Provider ID Number
- Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card (prior to start date)
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
- Valid Driver’s license (Arizona Driver’s License required within 30 days of hire)
- MVReport – showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees
Schedule
- Effective: 2026-2027 school year
- Location: Exceptional Education Department – District Wide (sites may vary)
- FTE: 1.0 – 7.5 hours per day
- Work Calendar: 9.5 month positions
- 3 positions available
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits. Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position. Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
