Overview: An experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist Consultant is sought to provide high-quality therapy services to children with sensory, motor, and neurological needs. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of pediatric clients’ sensory, motor, and neurological functions.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with family goals.Deliver direct occupational therapy in home-based settings, focusing on fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and neurological challenges.Use evidence-based interventions to foster independence and functional skills.Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure effective support.Train families and caregivers to reinforce therapy strategies at home and in the community.Document sessions, progress, and outcomes, and monitor client improvements for plan adjustments.Participate in team meetings, community advocacy, and ongoing professional development. Qualifications And Skills Licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist in Connecticut.Expertise in sensory integration/processing, motor delays, and neurological disorders.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred experience with pediatric feeding disorders and home-based therapy.
