Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Kansas
- CPR/BLS certification
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
- Ability to travel throughout the Topeka area
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Knowledge of Medicare home health regulations and documentation standards (or willingness to learn)
Preferred
- One or more years of occupational therapy experience, preferably in home health, rehabilitation, acute care, or skilled nursing
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Familiarity with OASIS documentation and Medicare home health requirements
- Experience treating geriatric patients and individuals with neurological, orthopedic, or chronic medical conditions
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently
