About the role
Occupational Therapist specializing in Childs Therapy, providing direct patient care in an onsite setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop individualized intervention plans to help patients acquire, regain, or maintain skills for daily living, work, and leisure activities.
- Facilitate participation in meaningful activities, promoting independence and satisfaction through creative problem-solving and teaching adaptive techniques.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, treatment strategies, safety, and the use of adaptive equipment.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and model proficiency by precepting new team members.
- Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care while embracing a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; Master’s preferred.
- Current licensure with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross.
