Description
Odom Rehab, a division of Odom Health and Wellness ("OHW"), provides top quality rehabilitation services to residents of assisted living facilities. The position is available in an outpatient setting within these facilities.
Essential Functions
- Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with state guidelines.
- Evaluate and treat patients, establishing appropriate Plans of Care (POCs) and reassessing them periodically.
- Oversee the treatment provided by the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) based on the established POCs.
- Update POCs as necessary for the patient's care and develop a discharge plan.
- Document patient’s treatment daily and submit appropriate charges for occupational therapy services.
- Communicate regularly with physicians and medical staff regarding patients' status.
- Assist in developing and updating Odom Rehab treatment protocols.
- Participate in staff meetings and track Continuing Education Credits.
- Maintain an active Occupational Therapy license.

Qualification Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current MN State Occupational Therapy Licensure.
- One (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapist (preferred).
- Recent / previous work experience in primary health care setting (preferred).

Requirements: Mandatory Administrative Drivers
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle required.
- Maintain personal vehicle auto insurance coverage.
