Occupational Therapist

About the role

Tempe Post Acute is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our exceptional in-house therapy team. This position offers a full-time opportunity with a flexible schedule designed for work-life balance.

Responsibilities

- Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop appropriate plans of care in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice standards. - Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions. - Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions. - Administer therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, ADL retraining, modalities, assistive devices, and other occupational therapy interventions. - Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. - Evaluate treatment outcomes and make referrals when necessary. - Educate and counsel patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers. - Communicate effectively with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans. - Complete all required clinical documentation and discharge summaries in a timely manner.

$44–$55/hour based on experience
