Occupational Therapist

About the role

At Emerald Care Center Southwest, we provide exceptional skilled and long-term care to the greater Midwest City and Oklahoma City regions. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
• Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' gross and fine motor skills, coordination, and balance
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper techniques and strategies for daily living activities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Oklahoma
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
