Occupational Therapist

About the role

The full-time Occupational Therapist works at the main campus in the Pediatric and Adolescent department, with a 40-hour workweek Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency in pediatric and adolescent assessment and intervention strategies, with adult competency if applicable.
• Conduct thorough evaluations, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and communicate these effectively with patients and caregivers, involving them in goal setting and interventions.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and determine appropriate discharge timing.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure coordinated care, and enhance skills through ongoing professional development.
• Participate actively in team meetings, complete mandatory assignments, and embody the organization’s values in daily interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
