Occupational Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) for day shifts. This role involves evaluating a patient’s rehabilitation potential, establishing realistic goals, and planning and administering a treatment program tailored to the patient’s individual functional capacity and tolerance to achieve those goals. All Occupational Therapy treatments and modalities will be conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring the highest degree of quality patient care at all times. This position offers a flexible schedule with variable day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ rehabilitation potential.
• Establish realistic, patient-specific goals.
• Plan and administer treatment programs to meet individual functional capacities and tolerances.
• Deliver Occupational Therapy treatments and modalities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain the highest degree of quality patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy school.
• Current Louisiana State License in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.
