Occupational Therapist Assistant (FL)

About the role

Willis Knighton Health's Physical Medicine and Rehab Department is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to work with clients in their inpatient rehabilitation and long-term care areas.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other health care professionals in inpatient rehabilitation and long-term care settings.
• Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists.
• Participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic activities.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice as an OTA in Louisiana.
• New graduates are considered, but preference is given to experienced applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Schedule

The position is available on a PRN basis, working days from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
