Occupational Therapist Assistant, COTA PRN

Primary Responsibilities

• Follow all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care.
• Follow the treatment plan only as defined by the supervising OT.
• Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and according to the state laws governing occupational therapy assistants.
• Observe, record, and report to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
• Instruct patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.

Required Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Pay

• $48,175 - $72,263 annual total cash target pay.
• $23.16 - $34.74 per visit point.
• $27.79 - $41.69 hourly rate.
