What You'll Do
- Support therapeutic interventions and guide patients through treatment activities.
- Communicate progress, concerns, and observations to the OT and interdisciplinary team.
- Teach families and nursing staff how to carry out follow-through programs and home exercises.
- Manage daily scheduling tasks and enter post-treatment charges accurately.
- Document patient care in alignment with regulatory, licensing, and payer requirements.
- Keep treatment areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe.
- Uphold all compliance, professional, and ethical standards.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative rehab environment.
- Active COTA license in the state of practice.
- CPR certification.
- Strong communication, time-management, and clinical documentation skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (preferred).
- A commitment to high-quality care and teamwork.
