Occupational Therapist Assistant - COTA

About the role

Klarus Home Health seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services to home health patients/clients.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the coordination of care
• Deliver high-quality therapy services to patients in their homes
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Adhere to infection control measures and OSHA guidelines
• Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competency

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current State License to practice occupational therapy
• Military spouse may practice without a license if licensed elsewhere with equivalent requirements
• One year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
• Therapy skills as set forth in the Therapy Practice Act and other regulatory agencies
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proof of current CPR certification
• Reliable transportation and current valid auto liability insurance, current driver’s license

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy

• One year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
