Primary Responsibilities
- Follows all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care.
- Follows the treatment plan set only as defined by the supervising OT.
- Instructs and aids patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and according to the state laws governing occupational therapy assistants.
- Observes, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
- Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of Idaho.
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
- State Specific Requirement: Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy: ID.
- Preferred Qualification: Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Pay
- Annual total cash target pay: $26.19 - $57.92 per visit point.
- $21.83 - $48.27 hourly rate.
- Pay Range: $45,400 - $100,400 annual total cash target pay.
