Occupational Therapist Assistant (Coeur d'Alene)

Primary Responsibilities

• Follows all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care.
• Follows the treatment plan set only as defined by the supervising OT.
• Instructs and aids patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and according to the state laws governing occupational therapy assistants.
• Observes, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
• Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.

Required Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of Idaho.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• State Specific Requirement: Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy: ID.
• Preferred Qualification: Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Pay

• Annual total cash target pay: $26.19 - $57.92 per visit point.
• $21.83 - $48.27 hourly rate.
• Pay Range: $45,400 - $100,400 annual total cash target pay.
