About the role
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to support patient rehabilitation and enhance quality of life in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Assisting Occupational Therapists in delivering rehabilitative services.
- Helping patients perform exercises to improve strength, balance, and mobility.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
- Educating patients and families on proper techniques and equipment use.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
- Maintaining clean treatment areas and adhering to safety standards.
- Participating in ongoing training to improve skills.
Qualifications and skills
- Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and principles.
- Physical stamina for assisting with patient mobility and tasks.
Pay
Competitive hourly rate of $33 to $35.
