Occupational Therapist - Adult, Acute Care

This is a full-time, day shift position scheduled to work four, 10-hour shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every-other weekend. When working, you will be onsite at University Hospital, 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI.

Pay

• Eligible for a $4,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE)
• Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants
• Weekend pay differential

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and optimize discharge
• Provide patient and family-centered care in a fast-paced, dynamic acute care environment at a nationally recognized academic medical center
• Demonstrate a high level of clinical excellence, autonomy, adaptability, and engagement
• Commit to ongoing learning to advance clinical knowledge, skills, and abilities through peer mentorship, clinical education, and other learning opportunities
• Take an active role in program development and quality improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (Required)
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin (Upon Hire)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 3 months of hire)

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior relevant experience (Preferred)
